The Argentina national football team, La Albiceleste, is administered by the Argentine Football Association (AFA) and competes in CONMEBOL. The team plays home matches at Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires and wears the iconic light blue and white vertical stripes.

Argentina is one of the most decorated nations in world football, having won the FIFA World Cup three times: 1978, 1986, and 2022. The 2022 victory in Qatar, led by Lionel Messi, ended a 36-year wait for the title. The team has also won 15 Copa América titles, the most of any nation.
