The Colombia national football team, Los Cafeteros, is governed by the Colombian Football Federation (FCF) and competes in CONMEBOL. The team plays home matches at the Estadio Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez in Barranquilla and wears yellow, blue, and red.

Colombia has qualified for six FIFA World Cups, with their best performance in 1990 (round of 16) and 2014, when they reached the quarter-finals and James Rodríguez won the Golden Boot. The country won the 2001 Copa América on home soil and has produced stars including Carlos Valderrama, Falcao, and James Rodríguez.
