Ghana

The Ghana national football team, the Black Stars, is governed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and competes in CAF. The team plays home matches at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi and wears yellow, green, and red.

Ghana is one of Africa's most prominent football nations, having won the Africa Cup of Nations four times (1963, 1965, 1978, 1982). The Black Stars have appeared at four FIFA World Cups: 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2022. At South Africa 2010, Ghana reached the quarter-finals and came within a penalty of the semi-final. Players include Michael Essien, Asamoah Gyan, and Jordan Ayew.
